Garda lies two
thirds of the way down this side of the lake, and is
well noted for its historic centre. Around the lake you
will also find castles, churches, sanctuaries,
fortresses, palaces and museums. The town has much to
offer the visitor, from days out on the lake, to days
strolling along the promenade taking in some of the many
lively cafés and bars that line the lakefront.

The Olive
Riviera refers to the 50km stretch of coves, bays and beaches that make
up the eastern side of Lake Garda. The surrounding hillside is covered
in olive groves, lemon and orange trees and the vineyards of the
Valpolicella region.
